Matisse Gesso Black
Matisse Black Gesso is an intense black, permanent primer that remains flexible and holds excellent tooth for easy paint manipulation. Matisse Black Gesso can be used to tighten canvas, giving a firmer painting surface. It is water-based and may be thinned with water for use on raw canvas or linen. One coat is all that is needed for a rich, dark background on which to start your painting.
- May be applied with a brush or a roller without diluting
