Matisse Background Coloured Gesso

Matisse Background Coloured Gesso is a highly pigmented, all-purpose, pure acrylic, low tooth gesso that can be applied to almost any surface. Matisse Background Coloured Gesso is especially designed to be used as a surface preparation coat or sealer for canvas, board and wood, however it has also been used extensively in interior domestic decoration. Matisse Background Colours can be mixed with Transparent Gesso for a coloured primer with extra tooth, perfect as a pastel primer. Matisse Background Colours can also be used with stencils, design painting, or simply as a flat decorative wall and ceiling paint. Matisse Background Colours spread easily with brush or roller and dry fast to a matte velvet finish. Apply direct from the jar and clean up with water.
