Damar Varnish is a traditional gloss final varnish for oil and alkyd paintings. This durable yet flexible varnish is  prepared from pure, sustainably harvested damar gum. When used as a final coating over finished paintings, it adds a high gloss finish and extra strong yet flexible protection. It is made in Australia from globally sourced materials. Provides a protective layer that prevents dust and airborne contaminants from adhering to the surface of an oil painting. It can be removed with solvent.
